![]() I was born on September 12th, 1970 in Munich - Germany. So I'm a Virgo: And people knowing me well, claim that I'm a very typical one. As I'm the only child of my parents, I was always (and I'm still) in the focus of their attention. So I grew up very sheltered and in prosperity. But above all in a real happy family. And of course I got taller in the meantime. Height:183 cm (6'00); weight: 75kg (163 pounds). But I'm still not able to blow my fingers. |

![]() After my parents moved to a suburb of Munich, I first went to elementary school and after that to the Gymnasium (grammar/high school) there. Later I made my Business Diplom (Master) at the University of Regensburg. And by accident I came into contact with quality management there for the first time - writing my dissertation. After a few years as an employee, I soon started my own business: a management consultancy. And our work is still focusing on quality management, marketing consulting and online marketing. |

![]() Growing up in Upper Bavaria you have no choice: Skiing is a must. But in my case skiing (and snowboarding) got even more than a hobby. It's a passion. And apart from that? The mountains also attract me in Summer. Just for hiking or - more and more - to mountainbike. In addition there is the magic fascination water holds for me: Nowhere the power of nature is as noticeable as on the sea or in the mountains. So sailing and powerboating are two more hobbies of mine. |

![]() Cancer sets you thinking: What would have been the right living style not to get it? My living style is not leaving me to much room to move: I'm quit sporty and I always tried to live and eat healthy. Beyond that I was never smoking cigarettes and I'm not drinking alcohol regularly. So what am I going to change now? Definitely not to much. I'm not going to give up the insignificant number of cigars I'm smoking during the year, or the few glasses of red wine I love so much. Not only because red wine is absorbing free radicals and reducing the risk of cancer that way: The disease also showed me once again, that our lifetime is limited. So it's time to live our lifes, time to realize our dreams. Now! |

![]() My taste in music depends very much on the situation: When I have to concentrate I like to here classic - Rossini at the moment - when kicking back Jamiroquai and Sade and while getting ready for skiing or other active sports I'm listening to groups like Guns and Roses. In summertime - eg on our boat - I love Italian music (Ramazotti) and Reggae (B. Marley). But my all time favorite is Pink Floyds 'Learning to fly'. And Movies? I like everything with Robert de Niro, and things like 'The Big Lebowski'. TV: I'm not watching to much TV, I hate most sitcoms and soaps (exception: Friends!), but I like to see CNN (or German NTV). OK - I am addicted to watch News all the time. |

![]() Nothing in my live is as important to me, as my friends are. Some of them are accompanying me since we were in elementary school together. I thought very often about how much real good friends one could have. I was not able to figure it out till now. But after an experience like cancer one thing became clear to me: There are never enough of them. Thanks to every single one. And I'll never forget that there was already somebody waiting for me directly after the operation.
